Performative walk
Post-anthropocentric circus Part II
Together with trees, we form a staging collective and invite them to work with us as choreographers and performers. Together with the trees, we enable the audience to experience multi-species communication at eye level: a performative walk in five acts – with the forest choir, a duet between aerial artist and tree, danced more-than-human solos and group choreographies. The human performers are small between large trees, and yet they seem safe and protected. We notice the strength but also the fragility of the large plants. The audience is invited to activate their own senses and take part in the shared dance and understand the language of the trees more and more fluently.
